Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.– Matthew 7:7
I was talking with a friend of mine who has had a financial problem for a while now. She feels let down and frustrated by the circumstances and even by God. Her insurmountable problems are escalating and she called me asking for prayer. There are many people out there who can identify with what my friend is going through. Some of us spend years trying to work our way out of problems only to end up more in a mess than ever. Others work frantically on marriages that, despite their best efforts, seem to only deteriorate from year to year. Then there are others who fight battles against fear, depression, drug addiction or some illness.
Deep inside of us, we know there must be a solution to the problems we face. But often like my friend is experiencing it seems to be out of reach, hidden behind a tightly shut door.
The good news is this we can open that door! Jesus is that door and He has given us the keys.
You may be facing a situation that looks absolutely hopeless, but God has a key ring full of keys that will unlock your situation. He has the keys that open the doors for you spiritually and physically, financially and emotionally. No matter what the devil tries to throw at you, if you can get your hands on the right key, you can find a solution.
The Word of God is full of keys —keys to bind the devil’s operations and keys to loose yourself from his traps. God has a key that will loose any knot that the devil ties you up with. God also has a key that will shut down the devil’s evil plans so that he won’t be able to do anything.
Think about this: There’s no problem so dark that a Jesus Key cannot open.
There is an answer to your situation. So keep digging for it. It’s like treasure hunt. If you have been digging in the Word of God in one spot and haven’t found your answer, then look at another chapter, a different verse. Keep digging until you find the key that will set you free.
