What is the church’s destiny? I think we have missed our way somehow and missed God’s call upon our lives as the church. I always used to wonder why Jesus made the statement “I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it”. Here is what I believe God is saying to us as the church. It is time to rise up to our call. Why is there a church in the land where you live? What is the purpose or role of the church in the land? The church is the highest authority in a nation but when the church acts opposite to its call we become of no use to God and His Kingdom. We have to re focus our attention to what God is saying and become relevant to His call as the church in the nation.
We are in the Hebrew year 5777 it’s about the triple sword and a clashing of kingdoms. The church needs to rise up and take its rightful position as a leader in the nation. We as the church have the answers to every problem in the country, so why do walk about as if we don’t know what to do. The Church of Jesus Christ has the answers. Just this morning at a prayer time for the nation I shared how as we the church move forward the gates of hell open before us. Nothing can stand against us. Nothing! Nothing! Nothing!
Gates are meant to keep thing and people out of properties. Here Jesus is telling us that no matter what gate satan has put across our path we can go through it. As we move towards the gate of satan it will open before us. We are a force to be reckoned with, no one can stop us. We are the church of Jesus Christ and the gates of hell will not prevail against us.
Declare “I am the church of Jesus Christ and the gates of hell will not prevail against me.” There will be no problem that you and I cannot overcome because we are the church.
