We have seen nations transformed because of prayer. So what is God really saying to us about our nations today? We have become nations in transition many things hang in the balance and if we don’t push hard enough towards the right direction we can miss God’s highest calling for our nations. This is why we are running a series of how to pray for our nations so they move toward the right transformation.
In 2010 the Lord spoke very clearly that His time of visitation for Sri Lanka and the Asian regions was now. Job 10:12 – Thou hast granted me life and favour, and thy visitation hath preserved my spirit. So we began to not take rest but pray, pray, understanding that the time of God’s favour was on our land and to recognize that God’s visitation was upon our nation. He told us that the next 10 years were favourable and if can gather momentum to keep going we will push this nation from 3rd world to first world. Prayer was a key element.
We believe that every leader in a nation is hand picked by God and we must learn to honour them, respect them and serve them as God’s man and woman in the positions they hold in the land. It is our responsibility as God’s people to do so.
Psalm24:1 -The earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. If this is true which we believe it to be then with God’s help through prayer and righteous influence our beloved Sri Lanka can be transformed.
Romans 13:1 – Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
1 Timothy 2:1-3 -Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior.
God is moving and if as a nation we do not align to His plans and purposes we can miss His visitation. It is time it is time it is time. It is time for us as a nation to rise up and spend some time in prayer and prophetic declaration as we see Our Living God bring massive change and transformation in the land.
Therefore I would like to focus our attention on 7 aspects or 7 mountains as it’s called that can transform a nation. A nation can be transformed if these 7 mountains would be conquered in the right way. We would like to release a prophetic word for each of the mountains which will come to pass in the days to come.
SPIRITUALITY
We declare that we are entering a season when the counterfeit will be exposed and truth, righteousness, purity in our spirituality as a nation will come to the forefront of transformation.
GOVERNMENT
We are a nation in transition hanging in the balance waiting for the scales to tip into good governance. The route has been a battle but we declare good governance will begin its true reign.
EDUCATION
We declare our nations that the church in the land will be more influential in establishing educational institutions that will use Kingdom principals to influence the next genreation so that our nations will be transformed.
MEDIA
God is causing Media in this land to resonate loudly in our nation. The media will play a huge role in bringing about change for the better. God is releasing supernatural wisdom and truth to prevail in the land. The destructive sounds and twisted images that media has portrayed will be turned around and made beautiful and His truth is what will be spoken.
SPORTS ARTS & ENTERTAINMENT
Heaven has every creative dream fulfilled. We pray and declare within the next 10 years that as a nation we will globally be recognized and raised up in the Music, Art, Writing, Designing and Sports arenas. We call forth heavens creativity to be unleashed upon our nation’s children today.
FAMILY
The devil tried to destroy our family life through war, abuse, alcoholism immorality etc but we declare Sri Lanka it is time to mend, build the bridges, love your children. Fathers, come back to your children, Mothers, take on your responsibilities. We declare the government will raise a standard and bring resolutions that will bring restoration to families. Church and religious institutions will play a huge part in this plan.
BUSINESS
Businessmen in our nation will become innovative, creative and leaders in the global market. Our nation will be a leader in certain spheres. Some businessmen will change their businesses taking a 180 degree turn which will put them on the global map. We will be a nation with emerging entrepreneurs and business moghuls. God is releasing wisdom and witty inventions to businessmen in this nation like never before.
