I have experienced much darkness in my life over the year and it was because of curses operating in my life. I used to feel like I had the potential but could never reach it. I struggled for 42 years of my life. It was tough, tough, tough. Even after becoming a Christian it was tough. Today I am free. I used to wake up for 29 years planning suicide in whatever way possible. I tried it but it didn’t happen thank God! I feel burdened to share with you how you can exchange your life of desolation and captivity for a life absolute freedom. God always has a way. Think about this for a moment the absence of freedom, happiness and peace indicates there is a curse working in our lives bringing with it desolation, captivity and postponement to the very best that God has for us.
Let’s look at Ezekiel 37:1-12
God calls us to prophesy to our destinies. You are the prophet of your own life no one can prophesy into your life better than you can. God gave Ezekiel an understanding of the situation Israel was in and he asked him to start prophesying to the cursed dead circumstances. In this account you will find 4 levels of prophetic declarations that helps you understand the process of prophetic fullness you can receive.
1. There will be a coming together – Ezekiel 37:7-8 – Ezekiel heard a new sound and a coming together taking place. Imagine this valley of dry bones. They were good to be used as drumsticks or fire wood perhaps. But Ezekiel begins to prophesy as God said he saw and heard the dry bones flying around finding their respective pieces coming together to form a skeleton. Wow they must have been banging into each other and that was the sound he heard. Each dry bone began joining itself to its relative bone. When you prophesy to the dead dream dead situations dead marriage dead end job, listen for a new sound taking place, there will be movement, there will be noise, the old is getting a shaking off its dust ready to join to form a new thing.
2. The breadth of life is given – Ezekiel 37:8-9 – All the bones had come together but there was no life as yet. So God asks Ezekiel to prophesy again to the very part that was not functioning yet. In each stage of prophesying it is important not to stop but keep going because when we see a great victory we think we got it all. But remember with each breakthrough there is more. God is always opening the doors for more. He is the God of the more. So Ezekiel prophesies again to the part that was not working and breadth came into this great big army. WOW!
3. Spiritual Warfare was needed – Ezekiel 37:10-11 – Though there was a big army that Ezekiel witnessed after him prophesying this army was in despair and had no hope they seemed depressed and rejected. I remember though I had miracles in my life at different stages I still felt rejected and lost and without hope. I had to fight my way through it all. The devil tried to steal the very breadth of my God given destiny so he will try anything to keep me down and depressed isolated and without hope. This is why we need to war against the enemy who comes to steal, kill and destroy our destinies in God.
4. There was an amazing hope – Ezekiel 37:12-14 – God declares that he will place them in their own land. A prophetic destiny was released to this great army that was once dead. God fulfilled a prophecy that was given in Ezekiel 36. Till you have fulfilled your complete prophetic destiny in God do not stop prophesying. God has great, great big plans for you and the devil doesn’t like it. Rise up man of God, woman of God you will fulfill that stirring within you that is waiting to be released. Start prophesying to your destiny. Speak to the dead dreams, dead visions, dead marriage, dead business venture, dead friendship etc etc. Change is about to take place!
