I am the CEO and owner of an art school. Each year I sit down with my Boss the Lord Jesus Christ and renew my market place anointing from Him, so I can carry on another year. Obviously I have to have new ideas and new plans for the new year ahead. In my own strength and skills I cannot and will not venture out without first leaning on the Lord for direction, creativity and anointing. As a result at the end Annual Exhibition tears come to my eyes when I see what we have achieved and accomplished. It is not the best but the very best! How does this happen each year? It
Plans can be achieved through your own planning however, we must allow for God’s anointing, leading and faith in our plans. Sometimes I am not sure what God really wants me to do but I still go ahead and do it because I trust His Word to me. God wants us to trust Him to accomplish things and flourish through His leading. The marketplace anointing will flows through us when we lean on Him. You must go beyond what you can naturally achieve.” If you and I want to experience God in business at the practical level, we must be willing to trust Him for more than what our skills, talents, qualifications and abilities can accomplish. God walks in the midst of uncommon circumstances. Every time there seems to be nothing happening in your business wait, God will show up and change everything. This you can see often in the Bible. When the people trusted Him to make things exciting and successful, God always showed up.The disciples were anointed to catch a shoal of fish that broke their nets. God always forced Israel to trust Him for the supernatural. It is no different for us today.
In the world today if you don’t move in the supernatural with an anointing for the marketplace its difficult to accomplish great things. The devil has strategic agendas against Christian Businessmen and women. We need to be 100 steps or more ahead of the enemy, therefore we must have real faith to do great exploits and be successful. It is important that we realise that we can be a vessel that God wants to use to demonstrate real faith to an faithless business world. It will require vision, faith, risk, courage, and action; to move forward.You may risk many things, reputation, money and being misunderstood. This is what most leaders in the Bible faced. However it was a risk worth taking. They became leaders because of the brave steps they took realising that God was on their side and He had anointed them with a market place anointing to do what He had called them to do. Dear Father God forgive me for trying to do things my way, today I humble my self before you and ask that you enable me to become an influence by allowing the market place anointing on my life to flow freely. So Holy Spirit will be able to accomplish more through my life and bring Glory and honour to Your name. Let Your will be done in and through my life as it is in heaven. in Jesus name Amen
