From the inception of EOTCG, our primary calling has been to prophetically pray and intercede for the nation of Sri Lanka and other nations, declaring what is revealed by God, which has brought about shifts and transformation in Sri Lanka and beyond. We have a dedicated team of intercessors who faithfully pray on a regular basis. As a result, God has been very faithful in answering our prayers, miraculously bringing transformation.

Story of Owl

In 2018 the Lord asked me to go out of my room into the garden to ‘’feel the darkness’’. It was only about 7pm but as I stood there the darkness felt thick and dense, almos tlike one had to cut it with a sword! I hurried inside deeply disturbed in y spirit. As I asked the Lord what this was about, He said that there was great darkness over the nation, and He wanted us to clear it. He then downloaded a prayer strategy on how to deal with the darkness and destroy it.

The Stakes

In October of 2008, the Lord asked me to hold a conference in Colombo . He then told me to take stakes and drive the stakes into the ground at the entrance of each province We divided up into 9 teams as there were 9 provinces, and set out to do as the Lord had asked us to. Backed by a prayer team we saw tremendous shifts, whirlwind in one province, rain after 8 months in another, and the boundaries of war not crossing the stake as declared by the intercessors. God said it and did it!

Doves

I had to shift my Art Class to the garden one day, and as I was standing outside I got dive-bombed by a bird whose wing brushed into my face. As I wondered in shock, I heard the Lord say ‘’I asked him to dive-bomb you to get my attention’ and I replied ‘’ You have my attention Lord’’ The Lord asked us to take doves to each province with scripture tied to their legs, and release them into the provinces from the highest point of the province as a symbol of peace for the war to cease, and freedom for the Gospel to be shared across the land. In one place the doves landed in houses, and the person in whose house it landed found the scripture that precisely addressed the problem they were going through. They knew the verse was from the Bible so they went to the nearest church to further understand. The Lord had spoken to them through His Word tied to the dove’s leg, and they came to salvation at this great Love of God shown to them.

Rain

Rain soaked the land as the stake was driven into it causing a shift that brought an open heaven over the province The province had seen rought for 8 months and this command of the Lord and His strategy released heaven on earth to bless the people in that province.

Well

At Sooryawewa a dry zone of Sri Lanka, a lady whom we were supporting for a farming project, asked us to dig a well for her; we had only enough money for a 100 feet of well-digging, whereas the standard depth one had to drill down to get water in this area was a minimum of 150 feet. So we asked her to stand at the spot that she needed water at, and ask the Lord to provide water there. Two of us agreed in prayer via Zoom with her as she stood on the land, that water would be found at less than a 100 feet based on our budget. To the Glory of God, they struck water at 75 feet and what was even more amazing was that they struck a river, unknown to anyone before this. The veteran well diggers said that they had never seen such a volume of water and thought it was an underground river!

A man’s steps are of the Lord.How then can a man understand his own way? His was the summary of how the Lord initiated our village development work. A casual trip to the village as a ‘driver’ accompanying a friend led to God’s supernatural provision for everything that was needed by the village from children’s bicycles to farming and now entrepreneurship projects. The Lord CARES! The Buddhist priest of the village asked for 2 bicycles, and I had to figure how I would find the funds for this, but that evening the Lord orchestrated for a friend to call me, and as we spoke I shared this need. He sent us the fund for 50 bicycles. Every time I needed the money to provide toilets for the village the Lord would supernaturally provide the means to pay for the toilets. These were Buddhist villages and it is overwhelming to see how much the Lord loves people and communities, in fact He stretches beyond the ordinary by doing the extraordinary to provide and show His love.

In Sooriyawewa, a dry zone of Sri Lanka, a lady whom we were supporting for a farming project asked us to dig a well on her property. We only had enough funds for 100 feet of well-digging, whereas the standard depth required to reach water in this area was a minimum of 150 feet. So, we asked her to stand at the spot where she needed the water and pray to the Lord for provision. Two of us agreed in prayer via Zoom with her as she stood on the land, trusting that water would be found at less than 100 feet, based on our budget. To the glory of God, they struck water at 75 feet. Even more amazing, they discovered an underground river, previously unknown to anyone. The veteran well diggers were astonished, as they had never encountered such a volume of water and believed they had struck an underground river. They made a statement saying, “Only GOD could have done this!”

God’s love for everyone

“A man’s steps are of the LORD; how then can a man understand his own way?” This verse perfectly summarizes how the Lord initiated our village development work. All that we accomplished in this village was wholly and solely dependent on laying our requests before God and trusting in His amazing answers to our prayers! During the course of this project, one day the Buddhist priest asked us for two bicycles, and I wondered how I would find the funds for them. So, I did what I always do – I looked up to the Lord and committed this request to Him. That very evening, I received a call from a friend abroad who asked about the work I was engaged in at that time. As we spoke, I shared about the ongoing village project. He said he would get back to me in 15 minutes. To my surprise, he returned within that time, promising to send 50 bicycles to the village! This was a Buddhist village, and it was overwhelming to witness how much the Lord loved these people and communities—just as He is! The Lord went beyond the ordinary, doing the extraordinary to provide for and show His love to these village families.
