REJOICE! And again I say REJOICE!

If you take time to understand why Jesus came into this world, there are many reasons. One such is so we can rejoice. Jesus replaces fear with joy. Today as we look around all we see is fear chaos. Paul the Apostle summed up the goal of his whole ministry like this: “for the advancement and joy of your faith.” And he told the Philippians and Thessalonians “Rejoice always and again I will say rejoice.” Always? We will experience grief and pain. However still joyful. I watch the news quite frequently, when I see what’s happening around the world and specially in Syria at this moment in time there is no reason to rejoice at all but still there is a joy that when I pray the Lord will intervene. We must learn to rejoice in Jesus because He is the main reason to hope that something will change.

We must not oversimplify: it is not wrong to cry (weep with those who weep), but there is a joy rooted in God’s rule of love that is never overcome in God’s children.

Choose today to rejoice and have hope that Jesus the reason for this Season will enable you to conquer whatever obstacles you may be facing. Rejoice my friend Rejoice He is our Hope.
