Empowering Communities for a Brighter Future
About Salt Shakers
Salt Shakers is the social arm of Enforcers of The Call Global. Just as salt adds flavor and preserves food, Salt Shakers brings flavor to the lives of the less fortunate and preserve the sanctity of their children, offering hope and a brighter future for them and generations to come.
Our mission is grounded in the heart of the Lord Jesus, whose love extends to everyone, regardless of background, religion, race, or culture. We meet individuals at the point of their need, right where they are. Our projects are focused on empowering individuals and communities to become self-sustainable, giving them a head start in life.
(Matthew 25:35-36)
We are deeply grateful to our donors, friends, well-wishers, and individuals from Sri Lanka and around the world who, united by a shared vision of transforming Sri Lanka at its core, have supported us in fulfilling this mission since 2013. Salt Shakers would not exist without their unwavering support!
Initiatives & Projects:
Transforming
Communities, One Step at a Time
Salt Shakers is involved in a variety of initiatives and projects, including but not limited to those listed below. As we carry out these projects, we are guided by our core values of integrity, accountability, and transparency. We expect the same commitment to these principles from our partners, collaborators, and the communities we work with. If these values are not shared, we choose not to engage in the project.
Farming Projects
We come alongside farmers who own land but are burdened with debt and unable to afford essentials like seeds. By providing seeds and assisting with a reliable water supply system, we help them restart their farming activities. As they cultivate crops and save seeds from their harvest, they gradually become self-sufficient, breaking free from the cycle of debt and paving the way for a sustainable future.

Children Education Projects
We support children from disadvantaged backgrounds by providing essential resources, such as books and shoes, to ensure they have what they need to attend school. Additionally, we sponsor the education of children from low-income families, giving them the opportunity to attend school. As needed, we also offer online English language lessons to equip them with skills for higher education and future employment opportunities.
Sanitation Project (Building Toilets)
We partner with villages and communities that lack access to proper sanitation. With the support of our donors, we finance the construction of basic toilet facilities, helping to improve hygiene, health, and overall living conditions.
Bicycle Project
We provide bicycles to individuals from low-income families in remote areas and villages with limited access to public transportation. This initiative makes it easier for children to attend school, helps families with daily tasks, and offers greater independence and convenience.
Medical Camps
In 2024, we partnered with the Rotaract Club of a leading school in Colombo, who generously initiated one-day medical camps in underserved areas. By mid-2025, two such camps were held in Udawalawe, bringing immense relief to around 400 individuals from poor families. Services included eye and dental check-ups, blood tests, free consultations with doctors, and the distribution of prescribed medicines at no cost. In addition, every family received a hamper of dry rations.
Tree Plantation Project
In partnership with a Rotary Club of Colombo Regency in collaboration with the Memon Association of Sri Lanka & Teaching of Islam, we distributed 500 fruit tree saplings—one mango and one jackfruit tree per family—in Udawalawe. This initiative not only empowers families to move toward self-sustainability, but also contributes to reforestation efforts and a greener Sri Lanka.
At Salt Shakers, we remain open to partnerships that create lasting impact—helping individual households thrive while restoring and nurturing our environment.

Many of us enjoy a life of luxury, where our needs are met and our desires fulfilled. However, there are others who struggle to meet even the most basic needs—food, shelter, and clothing. By sowing a seed into their lives, we can bring about a profound change, offering them hope where it may seem impossible. We invite you to join us in making a meaningful impact by contributing your knowledge, resources, talents, or any other way that aligns with your strengths and passions.
